Letters Live, the one-of-a-kind celebration of the power of written correspondence, returns to London’s Royal Albert Hall for an unforgettable show in celebration of Earth Day, in support of Greenpeace.
Renowned for its moving performances of extraordinary letters from across the globe and throughout history, Letters Live once again promises a distinctive and deeply moving night, bringing remarkable words to life on stage.
We’ve welcomed a whole host of exceptional readers to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall over the years, including Olivia Colman, Cynthia Erivo, Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Benedict Cumberbatch, Taika Waititi, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Gillian Anderson and Jude Law.
Plus, musical performances from artists such as Thom Yorke, Sampha, Anoushka Shankar and Myles Smith. By turns humorous, intimate and heart-rending, the letters span centuries and continents, offering moments of laughter, reflection and profound emotional connection.
This special performance is held in aid of Greenpeace, an independent movement of people who defend the natural world. Their vision is a world where everyone has equal access to clean air, water and energy; where the nature we love is protected, precious habitats are restored and communities are united by ambitious climate action.
