Letters Live presented its first season of shows in 2015 at the iconic Freemasons’ Hall, one of the finest Art Deco buildings in Britain, with Benedict Cumberbatch and Louise Brealey in starring roles.

Gillian Anderson is an actress known for The X-Files, The Fall, Sex Education and The Crown. At Letters Live, she has performed letters by, among others, Jackie Kennedy and Dorothy Parker.

Helen McCrory was an actress in film, television and on stage. During her extraordinary career she played Lady Macbeth at the Globe, appeared in Harry Potter and James Bond films, and won countless awards, including an OBE. She died in 2021.
